Kirk Wheeler?? Remember that name from about 10 years ago ? Think he was with us for two years without even kicking a ball, well just noticed he now plays for Cleethorpes. I was completely unaware he still played as there dosent seemt to be much on the internet about him since he left Town.

He's played Sunday League for the last few years. He played for Humberston for the last few season but they folded earlier this season and has now signed for Cleethorpes United in the Sunday League Premier Division.  He also now likes to play up front on a Sunday.

In my absolute boredom I do google a few players from time to time, and where some players are assumed retired and away from any kind of coverage, there are quite a few players who seemed to have vanished off the face of the earth, some who have abruptly retired to the point there is nothing new on them on the net. I've trawled Google and the net but can't seem to find anything new on these players, and I'm quite good at finding things that suggest a player is working in McDonalds on the Falklands for example....but these guys have disappeared...any ideas?

* Jean-Paul Kalala - not heard of since released by Southend in 2012
* Simon Ford - not heard of since released by us in 2013.
* Lewis Gobern - not heard of since released by Notts County in 2011.
* Iain Anderson - not heard of since released by Elgin City in 2009.
* Marlon Broomes - not heard of since released by Altrincham in 2012.
* Nick Fenton - not heard of since released by Alfreton in the summer
* Ronnie Bull - not heard of since released by Hayes and Yeading in 2012.
* Ben Chapman - not heard of since playing for Bottesford Town  in 2013.
* Grant Normington - not heard of since playing for Hall Road Rangers in 2012.
* Jason Crowe -  not heard of since playing for Corby Town in 2013.
* Terry Cooke - not heard of since playing for Gabala and retiring in 2011.
