My thoughts too, Maybe money would persuade them though.

Of course the reported interest could just be a way of extending their contract at their present clubs?

Mourinho is the man they should be going for if they want the best, can't see it though

I'd say Blanc is the most obvious choice for the current Man Utd setup, he has the Fergy connection after all. Unless he finally cuts his overbearing Godfather position at the club it will remain this way.

Blanc and probably Giggs as assistant, Scholes as assistant-assistant etc....

I agree with Rob, I could see Mourinho fitting in perfectly at Utd.

I think they should let Ryan Giggs have it full time...

Whether he would fit perfectly or not I can hardly see him walking away from Chelsea to join Man U.

For what its worth I don't think he would be that great a fit, or Simeone. Both managers are defence first and hit on the counter (in the main) with 1-0/2-0 wins being a specialism. The united fans I know have more complained at the style of play that Moyes has brought, being dour, dull and defensive. That wouldn't change with either of the above managers.

They would be far better with a progressive manager in my eyes. Somebody forward thinking and tactically flexible. They do have some excellent players who would be better being given a little bit of free reign.

Do they actually think Giggs has the ability and knowledge to do the job or is he just a name that will appease their fans customers for a while

650 million global 'followers' - figures which they admitted were simply based on the amount of people who had watched them on tv in one game. No recognition of whether they were watching the opposition, whether they were actually watching united or even just happened to be watching a game of football because they enjoy the sport.
