Supports player of the year goes to Macca. Well done Macca, well deserved!
Could of been either him or Shaun Pearson in by book, but both received plenty of awards each which is good to see.

Young Player Andi Thanoj & Paddy v Dartford goal of the season. Wise choices IMO.

I wasn't aware John McDermott had come out of retirement.

Let's be honest, even without playing, he's still a contender.

Mckeowns a great goalkeeper, I mean i'd rather he was tested alot less but thank god for him, don't know about this season but last season we had 17 shots against us per goal conceded, if we had some of the other goalkeepers of recent years in goal for us now, I dread to think where we'd be in the table. Pearsons been pretty good too, but other than that I can't think of anyone who's shown near enough consistant form enough to be a contender for it. If someone scores a winner at wembley to send us up though that'll be my player of the year

Him over Hatton and Bignot whatever sort of condition he's in at the minute but we must live in the now and look to the future rather than dwell on the past.

Agreed! Paul Walker springs to mind. I hope he gets a professional contract next season, no matter what league we're in.

Assuming Hatton goes, he would be well good enough as a back up judging from reports about him, probably cheaper than getting another player in.

Agree, Walker as back-up get rid of Bignot and get in another RB.

James McKeown is a candidate for the National Games Award, Goalkeeper of the Year. Basically non league keeper of the year.

I went to the players awards night and I have to say it was great to see all the players taking the time to sign autographs, have photo's taken and chatting with the youth players, adults and children all night.

The players were a credit to Grimsby Town Football Club

Now is the time to unite and roar GTFC back into the Football league

Come on UTM
