Have Sunderland turned up then? Who's playing for them, the snack bar guy and the coach driver? I thought we might end up playing ourselves and drawing 0-0

I suspect it's a team of Portugese peasants, sent on the promise of a night pulling on the Prom, while their Sunderland counterparts do the same in dull old Portugal

Get in LJL , can't wain to see him this season with hopefully improved service, have to admit I  a fan of his, yes he misses a few chances but tell me which striker doesn't? Any good striker only realistically scores 1 in every 5 chances they get, and I think the shops stats would be similar if you scrutinise them impartially. Because of lack of service and the hold up role/ back to goal style he was sometimes asked to play meant he never himself enough clear cut chances to get his 20 goals a season. I honestly HONESTLY. Feel that if the service improves this year, and early signs look promising then he will flourish and prove his worth. I also feel a part time striking coach wouldn't go a miss, an ex player who had a decent record and natural ability.

Sunderlands number 10 looks decent, the rest useless, including Graham

Great play by Paul Walker and Caine Winfarrah for the goal
