So, one striker place left, hopefully before the season starts - who might this elusive 20 goals a season man be??

He's mentioned Connell again as not being fixed up - who else is on the verge of availability ? - players on trial elsewhere but not getting the nod?

May be some more interesting names from the lower league teams, perhaps?

I've jokingly "bigged up" our current pre-season top scorer, so who coming in to be second top scorer for us in the league and cup competitions

I think it will be Alan Connell. Can he do a job for us? Yes, if Paul Hurst thinks he can - I trust our manager!
Is he good enough? Yes - if he is motivated for the job at hand, he will be.

I do think that  if we are to play 4-3-3 I think the goals will be spread out all over the pitch.  Disley, McLaughlin, Mackreth, Neilson could all get into double figures in my opinion and Lenny and Pitman both could get 15 at a push with Ross potentially scoring 20 with the right service. These are all being optimistic but I  think they are all doable with the right formation and tactics.

I think it could well happen if both both parties are interested. He's probably holding out for a L2 club and now we've got Pittman, we're in no rush to sign another striker

Another option may be Bogle. They may look to lower their price if nobody else comes in for him before the start of the season

Me too, I want Bogle, don't want Connell. Connell is past 30, did nothing last season, has turned us down at least a couple of times and let's be honest, he played for himself as soon as he joined Town though I will concede he was quality. Besides, I'd like someone with more power and pace.
