If it is Pell, he was a stand out player when he played here for Hereford, Town fans at the time were commenting on his performance.

Very tall, played in front of the back four, was outstanding for them.

Another cracking signing from Paul Hurst, he seems to have the knack.

From O.S

THE Mariners have signed AFC Wimbledon midfielder Harry Pell on an initial one-month loan deal.

Town boss Paul Hurst has been looking to bolster his squad after Scott Brown picked up an ankle ligament injury at Torquay and Danny Parslow's return to his parent club York City.

Pell had joined the Dons from Hereford United at the end of the January 2013 transfer window, going on to play 17 games that season, scoring two goals.

A youth player with Charlton Athletic from the age of seven, he rose through the ranks and signed pro forms in 2008, but failed to break into the first team. After spending time on loan at Hastings United, Harry was released by the Addicks and joined Bristol Rovers in 2010, moving to Hereford a year later after a loan spell at Edgar Street.

The tall midfielder was loaned to Cambridge United at the end of the 2012/13 season. Harry made 29 starts for the Dons last season, making another seven appearances as a substitute, and chipped in with four goals.

Harry is expected to make his Mariners' début against Dartford at the weekend, but he won't be able to play in our FA Cup tie against Oxford United.

So so. He was okay when he first came to us but quite frankly, he's lost it. Seemed to coincide with becoming a father.

Despite being about 7ft tall, he can't jump for a header.

Looked like a world-beater when he first signed for us but then went seriously off the boil. Needs to start a few games and if he gets anywhere near his early form, you'll want to keep him.
