Effectively the third division of Spanish football.

Oviedo's league includes the B teams for Sporting Gijon and Celta Vigo.

I wonder when the Elche manager will slag him off to high heaven in a fans forum after he's left.

The standard is decent. I was at Real Oviedo v Burgos earlier this season and it was pretty good. Over 12,000 people there too. Can't argue with wanting to play in front of crowds like that.

Beats turning out at Halifax and Nuneaton.

Wiki says they are owned by the worlds richest man Carlos Slim.

Loads of potential at Oviedo. I know Sid Lowe and others in the UK always bang on about them.

Juan Mata and Santi Cazorla used to play for them.

In fact, in the match I went to Cazorla was featured in their programme as an ex-player who's moved on to better things.

But I was predicting the upcoming questions of where they were.

Effectively a League Club then

Good on the lad, wish him all the best

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.
