Great result and performance tonight. Don't think the switch to Parslow sitting and 4-5-1 was the right thing to do, and wasted so many chances, but we weren't punished. On another night we perhaps could have won by a hatful.

And we've dropped 6 in the last 5. Those two Xmas home losses are really biting us on the ar$e now.

Just noticed Halifax are scheduled to play their FA trophy replay on Feb 3rd thought replays had to be played within 7 days of the original date.  So should have played  tonight (would have had to cancel tonight's game) or Saturday (meaning cancelling the Barnet game).
Had we not played Gateshead on the Wednesday we would have had to cancel the Nuneaton game, lucky we lost.

I agree Mrs D, starting with 4 attack minded players, away from home is very positive and we have goals in us, that's for sure.

I don't think many on here would have predicted 9 points from these 3 games after the Christmas disappointment.  Its great that we don't have the complication of the FA Trophy.  Just one thing to focus on.  One game at a time, 3 points at a time.  It can be done.
