As part of the Grimsby anthology, we are asking Town fans to vote on their best possible XI from all players who played for Town between 1971 and 2002. The winning eleven players will be published in the anthology.

To vote, either private message me or send an email to anthology@marinerstrust.co.uk no later than 1 April 2015.

The message/email should give
  • Your eleven chosen players in a 4-4-2 formation
  • A manager
  • The year you first started supporting Town.

All the players and the manager should have played at least part of their career between 1971 (so you can have Tees, Brace or Wainman but not Green or Wright) and 2002 (so you can have Coyne, Macca and Groves but Santos and Reddy are out) Anyone choosing Mike Lyons as manager will be treated as an unfit and improper person

Because we want to keep the ballot secret, please use an email or private message to vote, not a thread (But do discuss the merits of different players and the dilemmas over different positions in open threads)
