Did I see right that a Braintree player was sent off last night, but still got an equaliser against Brizzle before going down to a goal late on?

They won't be mugs if they can hold Brizzle with ten men for a good while - hopefully may still be feeling tired and stretched , but town need to start well, high tempo, good passing.

Prediction - Town to win by 2 clear goals - would like to see Ollie Palmer back to scoring form if picked.

Not many more than 3,200, with 35 Braintree fans shivering in the Osmond end !

Forcasted a 1-0 tight game for last nights match, but IMO Braintree will be a different kettle of fish, on the assumption that you can`t miss that many chances two matches running I will go for a 3-0 win,  Disley , Clay and Arnold

Palmer will not be rushed back according to Hurst,

I hope he starts on the bench and scores twice   in the last 10 minutes,

If Palmer does not play,

I will go for the same result,

BUT

John Lewis hits the goal trail again with a brace.

Very tricky game, Braintree are a part-time outfit who came very close to getting a point at Brovers with 10 men for most of it. With the exception of Telford, there aren't really any mugs in this league, which we have found out time and time again. We've been here long enough now not to bank on any home game.

1-0 Town will do - Dis to keep up his scoring run.

Approx 3500 with less than a bus-worth of Iron.

I hate it when we play Braintree, I never feel we will do well, Town 1-2 Braintree coming back form behind after we take the lead half way through the 2nd half and fail to put them to the sword

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

I once said Gazza's IQ was less than his shirt number and he asked me: What's an IQ? - George Best
