You all may have seen that BP has been available for hire recently and I have booked the pitch as manager of the Internet Mariners.

As it stands I am looking to play an Internet Mariners v a Select XI compromising of Town fans where possible. As it stands I have (at least) 3 spaces for players in the squads, with the intention of 15/16 man squads and rolling subs.

The game is scheduled for a 5pm kick off, with BP open from 4pm, on Saturday May 9th. The Main Stand is open for free for 'fans' to come along and I have been told the Players Lounge will be open afterwards.

It would be £25 a man if anybody would be interested in coming down to play in the game, to ensure that all costs are covered - but I can promise you that age, ability and fitness are no barrier - they certainly aren't to play for the Internets!

Would be good to put some names to faces if people are interested in taking part, or even just coming to watch!

I would of really loved this biggles but I'll be on bloody afternoons, if you ever book BP again and are after players can you give us as much notice as possible so I could get the day booked off.

Biggs, I see the specialist on Monday about my knee I injured at worldnet. It's feeling a lot stronger now but I need to check with the quack. If I get the okay, I'd be up for it. Count me in, if I can't play I'll donate the £25 anyway.

I am nearly 67 now ,

I have played at the park many times for the boys and juniors in 1962/ 63,

So I will pass on this one,

BUT

I am sure I could score 3 or 4 at least

Are you a left back? If so he might give you a go this season.

I see the red X troll has struck again.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Well done... But fantastic that the board etc have recognised that the fans of the club want to do this. Pat on the back everyone.

P.s. Can we make it June/July so I can get back and be involved!

Give me a shout on FB if you get the all clear from the specialist mate. You know as well as I do that weve got plenty of crocks (me included!) so it wont be a hectic match.
