Apparently it's well known in football circles that wherever BARNET are plying their trade next season they will do so with a new man in charge as Martin Allen is leving to take over at Pompey.

Could this be the reason for their recent slip ups? IMHO this is another reason to lump on Brizzle for the title

It's an open secret. Not known for his loyalty is Martin Allen. If we had Martin Allen, would be have won the league? I am sure we would have.

It could backfire massively if indeed it is true he is going and Barnet do not win the league and go into the play offs. Another Russell slade scenario perhaps and the team flop at the final hurdle.?

Yes that's what happens when you are in demand.

Pretty sure that there are a lot of 'in demand' managers that have managed to stay put and make clubs successful long term.

Its actually what happens when you are only interested in the money and don't care about developing players.

Don't surprise me to be honest as he has done this before. At the end of the day loyalty in many instances in football goes out of the window when money is involved

Possibly though would have preferred of the top of my head John Still and arguably would have done a better job.Heard him in the warm ups and he is big on motivational techniques plus not to mention I feel a decent enough guy and straight talking and honest which is what I like

Yeah. John Still is a good shout.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Can't see the problem in him leaving Barnet for Pompey. All managers look to climb the ladder, just as teams do and i don't blame him.
