Just watched the "GTFC in Croatia" clip and made me think of this. A few years ago whilst in Holland I gave an old Town shirt to a mate to give to his boy. As a result they have taken an interest in Grimsby ever since.
How many of us have an old Town shirt or two stuffed away that are of no use any more? As we are approaching the holiday season why don't we take one with us and give it to a local. It costs us nothing and just helps to spread the word that bit further. Would be great to see how obscure a place we could find them in and we all know how pleased we are to see the Town flags on the telly when England are -playing abroad!

Lets send all our old Town shirts over to Brazil and see if they take an interest, you never know we might get the next Neymar.

I have got a Wembley shirt from 2008,

It has the Wembley Arch on it and   GRIMSBY TOWN

                                                         WEMBLEY 2008

Its a size Large and I have only worn it a few times, I am now xxl or even xxxl so will not wear it again,

I think its too good to give away for free but if anybody wants to offer me £10 for it I will donate that to the fundraiser.

I can bring it to the Derby game on the 11th of July if anybody wants to look at it first.

Mine have ended up in bars in magaluf, las palmas and marmaris.

Always filled me with a sense of pride seeing a town shirt stapled to the roof of a bar while watching only fools and horses

Gave one of mine to the pool guy in Egypt. He bore a sparkling resemblance to Liam Hearn. Top bloke.
