Town have entered a team in the reserve league this year..good news if it's run better than previous years, when you wouldn't play for months then play 5 games in 20 days near the end of season.

Sounds like it ought to be good, but will we struggle to field a team there at times with a smaller squad? Can we field enough youngsters to make up the numbers?

Hopefully this will benefit the likes of Sunter and Venney who might get the chance to be introduced to adult football without the pressure of the 1st team.

Of course, that wouldn't necessarily be the case if other clubs just fill their reserve team with kids.

I know when we entered a few years back the plan was to play games at The Bradley stadium. Is that still the case?

Good Idea, gives squad players like Hannah, McLaughlin, Bignot etc say from last couple of seasons valuable game time,
Keeps them match sharp.  And a vehicle for trialists

Last season the teams played 14 games + 3 or 4 more in a cup competition.

This would also give Doig experience of managing a team (that's if he is going to be running it)
