if you go thru Birmingham theres a 15 minute walk from New Street to Snow Hill station to get onto the Kiddy line....

we're getting a train from Tamworth to New Street , doin the walk , then on to Kiddy...

there's a real ale pub near the station according to the conference ground web site , which is good....

The train also goes from Moor St, next door to New St station.

anyone popping into Birmingham I'd recommend this pub:

http://www.thewellingtonrealale.co.uk/

It's about 10mins from Birmingham New Street Station (if that). It has a huge range of beers and last time I was there they let you bring your own food in and had cutlery available.

Cheers - looks good.

I like this one:

Interesting grungy bar with some excellent craft beers and next door to New St station.
