What i would say about the service from Grimsby to Lincoln on Saturday is that East Midland Trains only usually have one carriage trains on the route which are always packed and i mean standing too.  So good luck getting on either the 0920 or 1125 service. UTM

Well, that's pathetic. Skeg will take a hit there. Fortunately, I was planning on the bus to Lincoln anyway (as that's the only option if you fancy a pint and Town fans Skeg way on don't get many opportunities to do that).

Its not the getting to Lincoln on the train that's worring me, its getting out of the dammed place on one of the two trains back to Grimsby after 5pm! But having said that, I'm fairly sure the friendly police service will ensure we're all onborad no matter how snuggly, they won't want us hanging around all night!

I would imagine central will add another 1-2 carriages for the Lincoln - Grimsby tomorrow.

Just been tweeted by Lincs police more carriages have been added.
