I waited before I posted due to being furious at yesterday`s urine poor display. What we witnessed yesterday simply not good enough and for me the only player who earned his money for 90 mins was Pearson.Make no mistake we have had the easiest 7 games it was possible to have in this League and we have returned 9/21 points so far square pegs round holes is bad enough but the Manager claiming in August that the players are tired? Like many others I parted with cash for Operation Promotion due to the massive feelgood factor but that was my choice however that feelgood factor is now a distant memory and im feeling very vexed with what im seeing. This is a good squad of players being paid very well if the Manager cant get more than 2 wins from 7 games against mediocre at best opposition with these players were going nowhere fast and he should be removed.Someone put on another thread today Hurst should sit down with the staff and they should thrash out any differences and start again and anything less than 7 points from the next 3 games lets get rid for the good of the Club.Let`s start by bringing in an experienced keeper on loan til Jimmy gets himself back to full fitness clearly something wrong with him since his illness and it isn`t fair that he is being expected to play at this time.

It's far from good enough. Yesterday was an absolute shambles against awful but committed opposition (fair play to them). It was obvious from early on their left back was a huge weak link against the pacy Macreth yet we knocked long balls to the head of Amond who to be honest, hardly bothered himself even trying to win any or put anyone off. It's hard to pick out anyone who did well aside from Pearson. I thought both central midfielders were shocking, Robinson in particular shouldn't be paid this week. What has happened to Craig Clay? He was superb for us yet looks like he is running in treacle. Both full backs offered little going forward and left us exposed. Macreth started brightly but couldn't get involved. The front two look like they don't know each other, Bogle hardly involved, hardly trying to get involved. So do we blame the players? Is there a problem with team spirit?

9 points from a possible 21 from the start we have had is appalling, disgusting and inexcusable. To be 12 points from the top by the end of August is disasterous, Hurst is in serious trouble already. He hasn't done enough in his tenure to earn him enough credit for a stay of execution. I say cut our losses now.

The number of ST holders deserve so much more than the last couple of home games!

James McK hasn't looked at his best since his illness.... hardly his fault that we only have 1 keeper...

but I have seen 3 or 4 crosses palmed " away " into the path of opposition forwards who have said thank you
very much and goals have been given away....  something's gotta change here....

This merry-go-round of 4 or 5 team changes per game is hardly contributing towards a settled side...

Mr. Hurst... you are on borrowed time.....

I think McKeown just needs to start pushing that sort of deep, hanging cross behind for a corner. It's what most keepers would do so he needs to just practice until it becomes second nature.

One thing is for sure, if opposition managers have done their homework, he'll be seeing a lot more crosses like that coming his way so needs to learn how to deal with them.

If we bring another keeper in I honestly think macca will ask to leave but can we afford these mistakes any longer ? He will find form again no doubt about that

McKeown is no more than a Conference keeper. Think some have a vastly over rated opinion of how good he actually is. Yes hes a good shot stopper, but then you balance that with taking command of his area, physical presence, distribution, concentration. Hes been a good keeper for us - no doubt - but his form has been on a gradual decline for 2 seasons. IF you go to games with a balanced view, and look at opposition players and not just our own, you'll see a few keepers doing a very good job at this level. McKeown is struggling at the mo, we have a vastly experienced keeper who can fill in until McKeown sorts his head/form out.Warrington is advanced in years but can still do a job. Remember John Burridge?

Some season ticket holders travel 130 miles for each game. They must be mental.

I definitely remember Kevin Poole.....
Break the bank to get an out of favour keeper in on a 3month loan
David James needs the money.....!

Christ you all wanted him sacked a few months ago. 6th place finish and he's now the messiah and can do no wrong
Update:  I think I've got this right - He was the messiah. He then wasn't. He then was again. Then it turned out he actually wasnt. He turned into one big huge messiah again. Now he's not actually the messiah we thought he was . Now I'm hoping he rises again quickly

Without going on about Macca to much

The lad has lost his ability to make the right decisions  which is  costing us goals and points,

Most games we have had most of the play so he needs to concentrate more when the ball comes into his area,

He is making the wrong decisions time and time again,

The illness has effected him imo,

What he needs now is a good rest to fully recover,

Yes he might be fit but he is not right,

A couple of weeks on a beach in a warm country will do him the world of good,

Then come back slowly and regain his confidence and his ability to concentrate,

A loan keeper from L1 would love the chance to play in front of our great fans rather than the odd reserve game,

Once Macca has fully recovered he will be the keeper we all know and love.

It is nobodies fault he came back too quick with that type of illness you do not know how it will effect you.

I have been one of those that was trying to be positive, not positive for the sake of being positive but positive because I could see that weren't that far from going on a good run.

If the players want Hurst as manager then quite simply they have to prove it, otherwise Hurst will be out of a job if the continued lapses whilst dominating games continues.

We need players who can perform in front of big crowds (at this level), the recent hard work of both players and fans is quickly eroding and we haven't played anybody of note yet.

Hurst, you need to admit your mistakes you are turning fans against you by being stubborn and unnecessary tinkering, our league position proves that.

You play your best side, you play the side that battled with 10 men, why because they had forged a mindset of up and at them and never gave up.  You destroyed that with wholesale changes and saying some are bit leggy.

Get a grip Hurst, no more excuses.

I like McKeown, I think he is a good goalkeeper, he just needs to get his confidence back.  He has given us very good service for a long time now.  But, many of our fans have said he's the best in the league time and time again, but I actually think the conference has plenty of good goalkeepers, so he's not out there on his own by a long stretch.

I'd love to know if the illness is still affecting him, but surely PH wouldn't play him if it was?!

Macca should have punched it for a corner or throw in. The one at Alty he should have just left to go out. He loses his bearings all too easily. I'm still shocked at how far to one side of the goal he positioned himself at a free kick in one of the pre season games ( i think) and the striker just plopped the ball into the unguarded side. He also gets beaten fairly regularly with low long range shots. Happened a few times last season. I don't think he's been the same since Croudson left.

One of the lads i sit with said exactly the same. He said Buffon can get away with pink but not a non league goalie.
