A player with his talent would normally be seen at least 2 divisions higher. We're very lucky to have him - and huge credit to Hurst who has proved over and over again what a sharp eye he has for a good player.

Just signed myself up for Mariners Player just so I could see the goals. Both great but the second was is an absolute beauty. Maybe we just need to get him and Clay trying more of these long distance rockets as we've had some good success with them

He was great last night, really gave the team some spark. Helped out defensively well, also.

What a difference Arnold could have made on Saturday against Forest Green.

Everyone played well last night but it was Arnold with the extra class that won us the game.

At 1-1, i was just about to say to my brother that Arnold is the key to winning tonight, when he smashed that shot home and it was lost in the mayhem. Not often something gets me out of my seat but he managed it more than once last night. You could see he was up for it from the off when he ran right down the wing from his own half, outstripping his marker and put in a good cross.

The whole team were fantastic for the first 30 mins. The best i've seen us play for a long time. There was universal incredulity and silence when they took the lead but Nathan dragged us back into it single handedly.

He played brilliantly, defending, winning the ball, weaving past defenders with ease, creating chances and not least scoring two great goals. MOM for me by a country mile.

Well not much more to add to those glowing posts the rest he so desperately needed did Nathan the power of good. Well done Hurst man management skills of the highest order.

Nathan too that was a flawless performance in attack and defense loved the goals but one chase back in the second half at full pace to knock the ball out was phenomenal, TBH I never thought you had that much pace lol.

Well played Nath and well played Danny east without doubt they tore down that wing and created loads of problems. UTM.

I said that Gateshead didn't look threatening at all and didn't think they'd bother us at the back at all about 30 seconds before they scored. The moral of the story is for you to talk more and me to talk less at Town matches.
