Whilst not in the class  of Cunnington I didnt think Hudson was a bad player but Id completely forgotten sbout him which kinda proves your point 😊

I can't even remember what Hudson looked like!

Magennis had only just been converted to striker when he joined us, as I recall? Certainly looked like a keeper playing as a striker for us!

Tipped as a future England keeper apparently.

He'd struggle to get in the England ladies team.

Watching Arnold play, I fancy he has a touch of the Michael Reddy about him. Once he's away nobody can touch him and on the run with the ball in the box defenders are scared stiff of him.

Not many better players to watch in the last 10 years than Reddy but I reckon Arnold has more skill with only slightly less speed.

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.

Oh yes pick out one manager out of all the other managers in the leagues, now who is being silly.
Neil Woods was an absolute crap manager.
What I was having a go at is all this nonsense that his spouted sometimes about Paul Hurst who some seem to think he is the only manager out there who can spot a good player or instill a good team spirit.

I picked out Woods as the only other full time manager we've had in the non-league - we'll never know which were Hurst signings or Scott signings while they were joint manager.

Who else do you want me to compare Hurst to? And why make a comparison with other managers anyway? We've got a good squad, there is competition for places, many of our players are the envy of other nonleague clubs, and some people keep moaning!

Woods had a much bigger budget too. We had a massive squad compared to what we have now, most of them gash.

It was quite weird to see him play for us. Came with great credentials and yet it seemed like he had never played in goal before!

Ive never seen anything like it - it's not as if we got a loan keeper from non league or someone whose best years were behind him (although true in his case   but how could he have been so hopeless? Bizarre.
