Just listened to his interview and seen his goals. Two great goals. What a player and he seems like a really lovely bloke. Really gives me confidence that this is our year.

He really had an exceptional game. The energy, pace, ball control and of course his finishing were superb. They rarely got near him. In addition he closed people down and won the ball back for us on several occasions. Worth the money to see him play last night. Finally, just a word about how PH appears to have managed him through his personal tragedy, very sensitive and I notice he ran over to Nathan at the final whistle and gave home a massive hug. Puts things into perspective, sometimes fans can forget footballers are people with all the same issues as the rest of us.

Disappointed not to see him play Saturday against Forest Green as it would have been my first look at him but from what Ive seen on him on the tele looks very decent and a exciting prospect similar to the Marshall mould.

One of the best individual performances from a Town player at the park for quite a while, his 2nd goal was worth the admission fee alone and his first wasn't too shabby either.

I'm really pleased for him, he has gone through a lot recently and no doubt will continue to suffer for some time yet, maybe playing was s good distraction for him.

The best individual performance I've seen in the last 5 years. Everytime he got the ball Gateshead where doubling up on him and he still waltzed past them.

Both his goals came from nothing, with better finishing he could have had 3 or 4 assists too.

really pleased for him, he doesn't seem like a typical 'footballer' very grounded and honest in the way he goes about things, not scared of hard work either which is exactly what we need to get out of this league.

I've been critical of him at times last season but I thought he was outstanding last night.

More performances like that and he would make a huge difference to our chances of promotion.
