Blimey, they'd have been better off with PH

Christ you all wanted him sacked a few months ago. 6th place finish and he's now the messiah and can do no wrong
Update:  I think I've got this right - He was the messiah. He then wasn't. He then was again. Then it turned out he actually wasnt. He turned into one big huge messiah again. Now he's not actually the messiah we thought he was . Now I'm hoping he rises again quickly

I thought they would get a better manager than him.

I reckon Allardyce will be ideal for Sunderland. A good, effective manager who does a fine job, providing the fans don't have expectations above their stations like the Geordies and Hammers.

Did see Neil Redfearn, as a trainer / coach, put his Scarborough team through a meticulous pre - match warm up (just after 2.00 p.m. ) on a very warm day at Morecambe a few seasons ago.
Scarborough unfortunately lost 2-0 that day, and I think they went out of the league that season.
Not sure where he became a manager - apart from suddenly appearing at Leeds.

Neil Redfearn. Very much an ITV sort of a player and manager. By the time he's finished with the Millers it won't be such a jump for Hurst.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Wow, so Hurst didn't get the job, Macca didn't become the next town manager and Ken the postman didn't replace Macca at Harrogate. I thought reading the fishy it was nailed on. Bet Ken is gutted!!
