IF YOU PLAY FOR THE BADGE ON THE FRONT OF YOUR SHIRT

It's a good point - if we beat Halifax.

If we don't, well, I think those fans who are already disgruntled with Hurst will get that little bit louder.

I'm a supporter of Hurst and I hope he gets it right (been hoping for a while now) but I think we can question his decision to play Tomlinson ahead of Bogle/Amond because it's a valid argument.

I would really like it if Hurst could just accept that this Tomlinson experiment hasn't worked. I think it's done more harm than good.

I understand his reasons for giving it a go, but we've now come to the point where we can pretty much all agree that it's failed.

Strikers work best in partnerships. Bogle and Amond is a partnership - and a really exciting one at that. I've been as disappointed as any fan to see that being benched.

I appreciate different players need managing differently, and some need a kick up the bottom, but I've seen enough to know that if you play Bogle and Amond, together, for every match, as long as they stay fit they'll score goals.

They're allowed to have the odd bad match. It happens to the best. I'm sure Clive had off days.

So come on Hurst, we're 16 games into the season. Our strikers shouldn't be playing like strangers. That's long enough for a partnership to establish. We shouldn't be starting this from scratch.

I hope the Halifax match sees the return on Bogle and Amond, and we win comfortably.

We're you there Rich Mariner? Bogle was poor and looked injured. Tomlinson played ok - better than some!

The two strikers should now be straining at the leash. Bring them back for Halifax, and let's not forget that Cheltenham put 7 past them at the Shay, so they're suspect at the back.

Hurst has obviously gone for safety first after conceding so many goals, but it shouldn't be beyond him to come up with some system that allows us to play two prolific scorers whilst also being comfortable at the back? That's what managaers are paid to do, isn't it? Bogle and Amond would walk into any other side in this league. Would Pellegrini drop Aguero if City lost a couple of games? Of course not, and result is 5 goals in the next game. We need to start taking risks again.....badly.

No attempt at ethical or social seduction can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred of the Tory party. So far as I'm concerned they're lower than vermin. Aneurin Bevan.
