Biggest issue is that even if the temp guy can motivate the players the fact is form cannot be turned on and off like a tap. They have been in free fall results wise, that is difficult to change. It would have been better for other contenders if Pennock had remained IMO

FGR have been looking a busted flush. This might well give them a renewed vigour to win the play-offs.

It will probably improve FGR's chances of getting at least a draw at Dover, thus a point at Tranmere and third place is secure for Grimsby Town. I hope you go on and win it then there's no doubt. Unfortunately I've no confidence Hurst will even deliver so much as a draw and I can see Braintree pinching third place.
