Hurst signed him untill the end of the season, if Hurst really thought he was that good why didn't he give him an 18 month contract?  Like he did LJL when we signed him in the January transfer window?

Can you imagine the fishy reaction  to that back in January - it was bad enough that he'd given him a 5 month deal
