No ian miller anywere near the match squad even though he is fit to play.
Posted by: chaos33, August 27, 2012, 2:14pm; Reply: 3
We don't know if he's been training though do we? If he hasn't, he might not be considered 'match fit' even though available.

Would agree with both of them anyway! Really hoping for a win today.

From a stokers point of view I hope Cook and Pearson play well today we need some consistency up top chopping and changing cant be good but having said that if they are not taking their chances I guess that's why the forward line is being changed so much.

Good to hear from Kevin Donovan on Hullberside reminiscing about his time here talking about the goal he scored against Fulham in the play offs and the atmosphere in the ground.

Sent a shiver down my spine.

For anyone doubting that Thomas is being told to pump it down the line...

The Findus is currently being treated to a training drill of him being tee'd off by a YT at halfway and launching it into the area.

I guess there's a reason for keeping certain players in the team one is to get a reaction and allow the players to answer for their poor ish past performances.  Stars look good on bbcsport site can't radio humberside.  Thomas got the assist for the penalty

Was there still the lumping it forward, did we pass it more, was it just Mansfield played excrement, was it just a confidence thing and once we got our goal looked better???

Good result but very very bad performance inter first half. Lucky to get the break we did with the penalty. Don't be fooled by the score line, it has just papered over the cracks. Only a valuable three points in the battle against relegation, a battle we wouldn't even be fighting if Scott and Hurst weren't the managers.

Great result and a great performance. Shame about loosing the late goal as a clean sheet would have been the cherry on the top. Hopefully we'll kick on from this now.

Yeah, if only Alan Buckley (retired) was manager we wouldn't have won 4-1. Give it a rest Pelham. By all accounts it was a good performance and much improved.

Anyone taking a nibble ?

Right sorry, i read this.. cringed, bit my lip, read it again, sighed, read it again and thought .... you absolute massive bafoon! intercourse nugget... why are you even on the fishy? what does it take to please intercourse shits like you?

ok please bare with me whilst i attempt to stop you from ruining a good day
1: Bad performance in first half? We were very good after about 25 minutes and created numerous clear chances.
2: Lucky break with the penalty ... ?? it was a clear penalty that we all saw, Thomas was literally brought in because he offered attacking options going forward.. he runs into box very often as he did at Southport. So it was anything but a lucky break.
3. Battle against relegation? we've conceded 3 goals in 5 games .. all of which were due to lack of concentration and weve lost 1 in 5? how on earth do you justify a "fight for relegation" at this stage?
4. Managers out? How? the team today have literally shown us what they have stated numerous times they KNOW the team are capable of and see on a daily basis, unlike us.

Your comment was outrageous and please prepare for a bombardment of replies once town fans make their way home from BP

Regards.

What a great game  it just shows how a little bit of confidence can work wonders myself I was in 2 minds not coming but hey what a fight I would have missed.
I hope that we can just now go on a run so as to catch up on the leading pack Pearson was my MOM  and Disley should be stripped of his captaincy and put on the bench how the hell he gets a game and Thanoj as to sit it out that was my only grumble in otherwise a very good day out.same again saturday.UTMM. ;D

Well we demanded, determination, battling and the players supporting each other and we got it.  As long as we can stick to these basic Mariner rules we could well be in the mix come the end of the season.

I'd like to thank the managers and players for restoring some faith and proving to not only to us but themselves that they can out play and out fight the opposition.  I'm an extremely happy Mariner tonight.

I dont know if that passes for English in Lincoln but, like so many of your posts, I struggle to read it.

You change your opinion more often that some women change their knickers. Fan for 60 years? Does that include walking out at half time??

If you're at least 60 years old you really ought to know about commas and full stops, and how to use them. Jeez.

Everybody seems to think that Disley had a good game today. What's the problem? You want to 'strip him of the captaincy'?! What, straight after a game in which we dismantled the opposition and won 4-1? Maybe pop round his house tonight when he's having a well-earned bath to soak away the muscle pain. Just as his missus is serving up his supper - burst in to his house and tell him he's a disgrace and he's to be dethroned and confined to the subs bench! I dunno, why not tweet him a really long tweet with absolutley no punctuation in it,  saying you think he should be deposed and you should know because you've been here longer than him, or something.
