I have never left bp so angry frustrated and fed up
90 minutes against part timers and we have one shot on goal
We struggle to put two passes together we look so disjointed it's unreal
The sooner this town goes the better

Can someone please confirm before I tell the lads at work about the game, forgetting the one on one, did we actually have an effort on target?.  I am asking because my brain has gone numb after watching that  :P

We have the one on one that Tonk kicked straight at the keeper in the
first half, apart from that  the Halifax keeper did not have a single shot to
save.
We tried to play Halifax at the long ball game and they are better at it than us,
to be honest i thought they were worthy winners tonight, we have NIL idea
in the final third, the simple fact is that even if we did make the play offs we
are unlikely to beat any of the other sides that make it on current form and
unfortunately that 'current' form  (Cambridge  away apart) has been as dire
since the cup run as it was tonight.

Can anyone tell me (apart from Physical presence) what the point of a keeper
going up for a corner is when you have to leave 2 defenders with presumably
more  outfield talent back to cover him?
Surely 2 outfield players waiting on the edge of the box for a dig at anything
half cleared would be more likely to result in a goal?
I played in goal for 35 years and i was as likely to score as i would have been
to get home and that bird from the Coral  Bookies advert was waiting for me
in my bed!

Because keepers have the courage to put their head where others may have second thoughts

We missed the shop yesterday the ball just didnt stick up front and our midfield are so slow to get up and down the pitch that we just resorted to hoof ball and bypassed the full midfield all the time. We played to halifaxs strenghts which was obviously get it straight to there striker as quick as possible,  we just resorted to hoofing back to there defence and the cycle started again.
I don't think halifax were that good to be honest either they were just a little more effective up top. That's the poorest ive seen us play for a while if we stepped it up a gear or two we could of easily won the game. But then again can we step it up a gear ?? The midfield two of disley and kerr are good and effective but they are obviously tired and need a few games rest, instead of changing the whole team against dartford we should of maybe changed the midfield for a game or two because that loss against dartford could prove a bad mistake from Paul.

After the Hyde game I am sure we will guaranteed a play off spot, so Disley and Kerr can get a good break before the playoffs.
