1-0 to Alfreton with their only shot of the game after we have huffed and puffed for 90 minutes.1184 from Grimsby .
And also a pitch invasion resulting in a riot were our young Grimsby thugs parade the Derby Grandads heads around the pitch on sticks

Time for the players to stop dicking around and get that play off spot nailed.

0-2 (fingers and toes crossed)

I'm going to go with a 1-0 win for us....it's been good enough for most recent away games so it will do again on Friday

Tonk to get it in front of 850 Town fans

I think they'll beat us 3-0. As much as I hate to say it I think our recent "performances" are building us towards a beating of this magnitude, although I hope I'm wrong.

Pearson sent off.

801 Town.

Alfreton 2-1 Grimsby

Pearson header before a second half comeback from Alfreton...

1050 Town fans there.

We have played them five times now and we have never lost, and scored 19 goals against them.

So we will win convincingly 0-3.

Boyce, Neilson and Cook to score.

870 hardy town fans there to see it.

I fancy us for this one. Alfreton have really gone off the boil recently (they conceeded 4 at home to Aldershot for christ sake!).

So we will win 2-0.  Then we will easily beat Hyde, probably 4-0, and it's job done.

Rest all the key players against Braintree and go into the playoffs with a week and halfs rest.

See off the kick and rush merchants of Halifax with two 1-0 wins in the semi, and then a narrow 2-1 win aginst Gateshead (suprise winners against Cambridge) in the final.

Other than that I have no idea.

I like your optimism but for me

Alfreton 1-1 Town
Town 1-2 Hyde
Braintree 2-1 Town

I think the players have lost interest due to so much negativity from the fans.

Dont be such a wet lettuce

Alfreton 1-2 Town
Town 3-0 Hyde
Braintree 0-2 Town

Think we could well outnumber the home support, think they've been getting 700 or so in recent games.

A 1-1 draw after going one down. Anything better than a defeat to take into the Hyde game and I'd be satisfied/pretty happy.
