M1 southbound closed between J29 & J28 due to an accident, due to re open at 11, though I'd imagine it'd be very trafficous for a while

If you're going from Grimsby, you can take the a46 to Lincoln and turn off at the a617 towards Mansfield and meet the a38 there that goes to alfreton

In pub just outside Alfreton. Crossed over the M1 on the way from Nottingham. It was at a standstill, both ways.

The players should read this thread and think about the efforts people go to in order to support Town.

Once again the club's logistics planning a total joke.  The game's going to kick of late now with the players rushed and knocked off their pre-match routine, all because we can't get our s*** together and set off early/travel down the night before.

This is the third time now that we've had preparations disrupted because of trying to cut it fine with the travel.  True Amateur Hour stuff.

Clearly, they didn't set off early enough.  Even allowing two hours, that still gets them there at 1330.  Would it have killed them to leave at 0900 or to have travelled the night before then had the morning in Alfreton for stretching, massages and final prep? I'm sure the club thought they'd given plenty of time for Macclesfield when they showed up late there too.

Are you serious? It's Good Friday, one of the biggest travel days of the year! There has been a big misjudgement.

We'll see what the boys are made of!
