Eastleigh promoted today. This division next season definitely looks like it will be a bit easier for whoever is in it (hopefully not us) judging by the calibre of teams leaving it and those coming maybe into it (Eastleigh, Torquay, North Ferriby)

If Forest Green still have got money to burn it could be their season.

As we all know it only takes one team to buy the league and then it's a lottery.

Take into account how many of our players that are out of contract I think you could argue we won't be running away with the league. That's before we start talking about the shelf life of our manager.

Well definitely either us or Cambridge will definitely be here still. Pick a league winner from those 2 and add in Kiddy, Heed etc as well, it's not gonna be that simple!

Definately not us if we are still here,

new manager + new squad + same old pessimistic fans - budget = play off at best.

It's definitely going to be a little bit easier though. Before Luton Oxford were here for 3 years as well (before our time but I think they swapped places) so next season is going to be the first for ages when one club hasn't being much bigger than all the rest.

not really but even when you get in the play-offs you only have around a 1 in 4 chance, and we're not there yet so there's probably at this point in time an 80% chance we will be in this division next year. All of the teams in the play-offs are far more likely to fail than succeed. I'm very confident we will reach the play-offs.

Eastleigh have money, I wouldn't take them lightly.

Hereford lost to Tamworth tonight so they look like going down, another ex-league club to sink down to the next level. Is this the norm now? IMHO in 10 years time there's bound to be quite a few ex-league clubs playing in the Conference North/South every season.

Sounds like GrimRob is resigned to gtfc ending up in the conference north in the near future

Don't discount North Ferriby, the Allam family have invest 76million in Hull, am sure they have got a few bob set aside for Ferriby ;       Ferriby were promoted last season, and still cleared out seven of that side, money at this level counts.
