Just out of curiosity it would be nice to get people's opinion on here. I just thought it would be nice if the fishy had its own metallic pin badge which people could buy. It would be nice going to games and spotting fellow fishies as very often we have banter on here. Now before everyone jumps down throat, I do not think these should have our names on so as not to create personal conflict but it would be nice for the non confrontational posters on here to recognise other posters, especially at away games when the comradely seems to be better. All the badges would symbolise is an active support for this great site, you do not have to give anyone your id unless you wish to do so. We all wear towns colours with pride so why not a fishy badge?  Standing by for a lot of criticism here bit it is just an idea,

I would prefer something like this sites logo,  with sing when we're fishing under the logo. On a T shirt, that is.

That's what I had in mind originally, us fishies would know exactly what it stood for, and those that don't may just be intrigued by them and do not know about the fishy and we could recruit new,hopefully constructive members. Or if they haven't got a clue knickers to them lol. !!!!!

Oh the2 fishies kissing.   Well if any of the fishies kids birthdays are due get them a badge making kit print of the logo and put in the badge and id buy one of you lol.

would love to produce some tshirts. Would say on the same lines as some of the old codalmighty ones. But, have mentioned and showed ideas to a couple of posters on here, and the feedback was positive.

But that means I cant wear my town top Woz lol unless I can get a patch on the sleeve of my town shirt with the fishy icon I bit like those swimming badges you use to iron on.

I asked at the BP shop about the GTFC Logo's on the polo shirts their staff wear, a staff member told me they were done at a sports shop in Waltham. I'm going to take a look tomorrow..

Awesome Grimal let us know they might be cheaper if done in batches id have a couple if they did them.

Rob got the original fishy T-shirts done a few years ago.
I did the logo for Rob when it changed over from the electronic fishy . Still have the pst files somewhere.

Makes sense to have some merchandise about this site as lets face it is the clubs most popular forum.Maybe do a trial run eg see if people are willing to stump up a bit of cash for pins etc upfront and take it from there?

Ermmm...Copyright of the Fishy logo anyone? Sue them for millions...buy the club....posters with reputations over 80% or 200+ approvals automatically get on the board and run the club.....this time next pre season we will be looking forward to League 2 football....

I actually thought of that when my brother got me the hoodie, guessed it was classed as in the public domain.  But as it is a designed logo I suppose there could be infringement.

If people didn't want to use that site as merchandise I would certainly advocate a small fishy merchandise section there are quite a few design your own t-shirt sites I think so could be organised through one of them to keep the hassle down.  However I agree with Meza I really like the ringer top they have there, especially with a red trim

I've been to the sports shop in New Waltham and they can't sell any GTFC  Iron on badges/patches due to copyright.
I've ordered a  (The Fishy) T shirt online from Zazzle, it's called the fishy Ringer model,done in different colours.Looks good,will update when it arrives if anyones interested.
