We weren't in the fifth tier when he signed. And he wasn't released because he was deemed not good enough, he was released due to hanging around with people who were allegedly a bad influence on him so Woods got him to move further away to escape their influence. In the process, probably saving his career. So this is a non-story, trying to beat the club with yet another stick which this time doesn't even exist.

"Not deemed good enough for the fifth tier" and "how can these players slip through our net". If you weren't having a dig, you were certainly trying to set up for one.

I understood that he was also released because he had an appalling attitude.

I'm not saying our current manager has got an appalling attitude towards the fans but I'd have to say it could be better......

What a very relevant point to make in the context of this thread.

He was also released by Halifax when he was in their youth team. Huddersfield also released him. As we know it can happen quite frequently in football. It is not just Town.
Nice story also about another of our former players

Sorry, you can't use the I'Anson article here, it's not negative towards Town or Fenty.

I for one am not anti Fenty one bit. with out his backing and money we would not have a club as it is now.
