0-2.  8 players defending  as fgr have won a game this year and will be very dangerious. no one to go more than 65 yds up the pitch  except LJL  who is used to being on his own except for half time drinks, or there xmas bonus will be stopped , and there other halfs wont be happy with no cash to spend on extras.. Hurst will play 4-3-3 . but will realy be 5- 4-1 ...............reel em in

Forest Green delayed arrival due to picking up players in Birmingham and motorway closures.

Kick off 21:15.

Floodlight failure followed by a sudden rolling fog from the Humber over the Main Stand finally caused the abandonment of the match at 21.55 (with the score 0-0)

Lots of angry fans shouting abuse at hughes, hughes inevitably scores, lots of angry fans shouting more abuse at hughes, toto wipes hughes out, hughes reacts and gets sent off, lots of happy fans shouting abuse at hughes, we score two, lots of really happy fans shouting abuse at hughes.

Hurst will set up not to loose with our creative players on the bench . Pre match interview will be how good the opposition are and they have good players and they have more money to spend .
First half  0 - 0  ,  they pass the ball better than us and create  a couple of chances Lenny misses is usual open goal , Walker comes off bench to score but Hughes gets equaliser in93rd min . 1-1 . Only one person happy .
Weather chilly but dry ,  3200  crowd  15 from their place .

The Friday before Christmas in the last 2 seasons has produced cracking games at BP.

Ross Hannah's winner v Wrexham and then Scott Nielsons brace in the 3-1 win over Kiddy last season.

Good games and a decent atmosphere.

Many start off their Christmas festivities at the match before heading down to Meggies and this has certainly helped the atmosphere. Kids for a quid too so hopefully a decent and supportive crowd will turn out.

To the tune of the 12 days of Christmas: Three great Shops, Two Disley screamers and a Pearson in a Pear Tree!

Just over 3,000 with less than 20 from Stroud and local area.

Unfortunately I cannot be at the game tomorrow, but I wish everyone a successful night and a happy Christmas with some more points under the tree!

Might have got the song and score incorrect, but the attendance totals seem right!

Onwards and Upwards!!!
