I'm pleased he's doing it for you so far boys. I hope he helps you back to the 'Promised Land'.
Looks as though he's looking to see the season out with you.

Thanks, why do you think he wants to stay the rest of the season?

Apparently your gaffer wants it. I believe Ollie wants regular footy so he'll want it to.

Regular playing would make him want to stay  - good partner for L J-L against Barnet, any of JPP, Arnold or Jolley as the 3rd in a 4-3-3 will make people sit up and competition will keep others anxious for their place.

Hannah has again scored to keep him in Hurst's mind as available.

I like that Ollie has come in as the new lad and isn't scared to shoot - only a post away from a good goal on Saturday.

Options including Ollie should ensure no one is unfit to play, unless actually injured during a game - no need to risk half fit players at all !!

He could easily pop up with 10 goals by season end if playing regularly for us.

5 to 8 goals from any of the others would also be welcome!

Pittman is nearest but needs to stay fit!

The player himself said he feels it's pretty much all about what Mansfield Manager wants. Happy to go back if required and happy to stay if not needed.

For me he was man of the match at Nuneaton, looked eager, chased down the ball and looks to have a bit of skill despite his ungainly appearance.

He looked very good on Saturday.... sharp strong and full of running... on a excrement pitch...
would love him to stay with us....  :)

I think he wants regular football and to be appreciated - we can hopefully offer both so that his prolific goal scoring form from the lower league can be repeated.

Anyone who scores regularly and helps get us promoted could be a local hero for years.

Potential for League football is closer than in the last 4 or 5 seasons, so needs to be fully utilised over the next 16 games !

How near can we get to 48 points from those games?

We need a chant that integrates 'Zlatan' - there's only one Zlatan Palmer... is my best effort.

Has he played his last game for us or will it be like the Hannah saga where he returns to his club only to come back later on? What do you think?
Come on Mansfield, he's surplus to requirements at yours and wants to stay with us.

He's here for another 3 games at least, isn't he?

Hopefully that can be extended as well.

Thought he looked excellent at Nuneaton on Saturday - always in the mix right up front, and it sounds like he was a real handful last night. Really hope we can sign him up properly.

If Mansfield allow us to keep him for the rest of the season, I hope there's no delay. I wouldn't want him to go back and miss a couple of games while they decide.

Mansfield will want him back if Hurst fulfills his promise to teach him to head a ball properly !

Chances being made up front even if not all taken last night !

We've been here with town so many times and its all gone pear shape s let's not get  ahead of ourselves 😨

Interview on Radio Humberside Palmer has said he is enjoying it at Town and the fans have been great to him. Enjoys playing regularly and playing in a winning team. When asked if he wanted to extend his stay he said he would. He says he wants to part of a succesful team.

PH after the Eastleigh game said he was going to talk to Mansfield so the player wants it , Hurst wants it, would seem only Mansfield can say no.

I think Town will keep him for the rest of the season. Hopefully He, Jolley and Robertson can give Town that extra push needed.

Sweet goals Ollie Palmer to the tune of sweet home Alabama.

Not my suggestion I hasten to add.

I can't say I've followed Mansfield's season very closely but they don't appear to score many goals. Is the difference in football down here great enough to suggest to their management that he won't score the goals they need in the league above? I certainly hope so.....

I like it! Even if it does sound a bit sickly!

That said I'll happily caress his testicles if he fires us into league 2!!!

I think that we're all hoping he will be fit and back playing from the start next Saturday - been a big miss - certainly makes J-L L play better, and we need someone with the eye for goal up front again - too many 1-0's are no good for my heart - won't last another 10 matches like this!!

He  had a problem with his hamstring,

Should be back next Saturday, he was on the bench against Braintree.
