Hi viz, it's been talked about for weeks and I think most folk think it is this (I certainly got that impression). We could end up with 3 different themes here, which would reduce the overall effect.

Why Hi-viz? Any story behind it? To be fair you can still wear a wig with your jacket :)

Stewards, innit?

As you say it's his first game. Why would we do it when he hasn't even played for us yet? Let's just stick to the hi-vis which seems to have been the longest running idea and can be sorted easily.

Could wearing an Afro wig be seen as racist?

I thought the whole reason for this craze was a steward being a knob, surely the best way to take the urine is to all dress up as stewards.

Wearing an Afro for a sub who has never played for us before, not sure if it's in slightly poor taste,
are we getting blacked up as well?

Just wear a flipping black and white shirt for felicitations sake. This is getting boring now, it's all about winning promotion not wearing a flipping wig.

Rant over.

It didn't seem to bother Toto after the Woking game.

This is one of the main reasons I was annoyed at the telegraph and the club leaping all over the Barnet thing. Barnet was a spontaneous, organic event brought about as a protest to the way a bloke was treated by a steward and the fact that both clubs whitewashed the whole incident. It wasn't some happy clappy "back the lads" campaign, like the ones run by the telegraph in recent years. It's been completely hijacked to the point where it has become meaningless.
