Doesn't look a pen to me. Ref got it right. There's hardly any contact, and what there is looks like 6 of one.....

After viewing that i have come to the conclusion that John Tondeur's eyesight is failing, never a penalty, never a sending off and nothing to panic about. Get a grip JT.

Def not a pen then, in fact not even close.

Good to see a replay of that, saw it and looked clumsy and then saw the lino flagging like a maniac which had me terrified.  Think it would of been very harsh on the evidence of that video.

To me it looked 50:50 a foul/not a foul. But contact was outside the area so not a penalty.

PS Odd little thrusting tick that Fazakerly has there

Looked like a penalty from my seat on the other side of the ground, but that video clearly shows why it wasn't.

Obviously clutching at straws no way was that a peno hardly any contact made jeez we have had some cast iron calls proper fouls turned down over the season. Get over it man if you are hoping for things like that to stay up you are doomed.

Well done Ref for over ruling the dummy running the line, that would have been the softest penno ever, Just shows that the fine line between  success and failure is not always in your hands

Now I have seen that Tonduer you want shooting with dung you are the worst commentator I have ever heard. How do you justify tour job you only get exited when the opposition are in attack, false info like informing us that Alfrerton had already scored from some whisper in your ear.

Your a disgrace man.

At the time I thought that Toto was perhaps a little lucky but the replay shows there was really nothing there. Good work by the referee because it would have easy for him to give that. Otherwise, I thought it was basically a regulation victory.

Nobody really had an outstanding game but then nobody had a poor game either. To me, we seem to be becoming more and more like Mansfield the other season, just doing enough and picking up the points each game. Long may it continue!

Good Lord, I feel rough this morning...   ??)

From our side of the pitch it looked to me that Toto fell on their guy bringing him down. It probably looked similar to the refs assistant/JT's side too. The ref had the best angle, from behind the action and he was adamant and strong (on that occasion at least)

Thought they looked like a relegation side first half when we were much the better side. They improved after the break but apart from a few speculative efforts didn't trouble Macca too much.

Thought the central defensive pair handled their big lads well, Arnold was our main creative source, Mackreth looked like his rest/illness has done him good and Lennie let the line superbly.

Only looking at the Gateshead game now. UTM

If that's a Penno then we should just stop playing football and go play badminton

The last couple of games in particular he has been below par in describing the action, there was an instance yesterday when we were attacking putting a ball into the box, his next comments were there's a chance on here.....but wide of Mckeowns goal !! I thought the ball must have moved 70 yds there but there was no clue to that.
Probably too emotionally attached to actually be able to commentate coherently.

Just seen the highlights on Mariners Player.

Looks like Arnold was fouled going through on goal just before their penalty shout, so it's evens. If ours was given then maybe theirs might have been. Looks to me like the ref decided that both players went down a little too easy. The controversy was down to the linesman trying to overrule the ref, looks like the ref tells him off & leave the decisions to him.
