That'll be 8 out of 12, looking good!

We can confirm that Paul Hurst is speaking to new players too. The Town boss met with an unnamed player this afternoon.

Is the Stay Tooned bit a clue?  Someone from Newcastle / Gateshead way on.  Rodman?  Or the other Gateshead Midfielder a few on here were speaking of but whos name escapes me?

Jamie Chandler

Could well be a clue, although knowing Hurst, could be someone not even mentioned before.

Can't see it being Rodman - why would he need to be shown around the place?

Got to be 1 of the back 4 that started at Wembley hasn't it?

Lincoln are hopeful of landing Rodman

The stay tooned bit is not a player signing. We're swapping Ant and Dec for Griffith and Turgoose for POTY next season.

Rodman would be a good shout for us

Why are some fans obsessed with bringing back former players? People mentioning Bradley Wood, Dayle Siuthwell and yet again Danny North for gods sake let's move on.

Alex Rodman makes me laugh if he signs for Lincoln City after he said Grimsby where the only team he can play for in this league then he signs for Gateshead.

Alex Rodman would give us extra pace and skill out wide and we need more in that position because Mackreth and Arnold can't play every game.

It's not an obsession, why would taking former players that would add to the squad be a bad thing? Barring the hibs debacle Rodman would have been with us last season. Southwell has had a successful season of first team football and is probably one we should take note of.

I went to the last two Boston home games and on that showing I don't think Southwell is strong enough to compete in this division, still looks very lightweight.  One player for Boston stood head and shoulders above everyone in both games was centre-half Carl Piergianni,Their player of the year award,23 yrs old and quite local being a Peterborough lad. Still got a year left on his contract.
