A surprise after they finished the season so strongly and stayed up.

That's a big surprise. Fallout following the sacking of his son, perhaps?

Got to be linked to his lad

Has to either be related to the sacking of his son or just his general air of being slightly unhinged.

Pearson jnrs antics left his old man out to dry . Perfect excuse for the Thais who wanted him out a few months ago to get rid . Pearson jnr is probably on his way to A&E as we speak .

The guy made less sense than Eric Cantona.

I thought he was also interesting to listen to.

Certainly more entertaining than Rodgers or Wenger.

Ludicrous.  They'll go down now, and good riddance.  They should have gone bust years ago anyway.

I don't think they will go down,  they have signed a couple of good players and will get a manager in who isn't an ostrich

But as much as i couldn't stand Pearson, does seem abit harsh considering the job he did.

A rear guard manager - he is. Others will be interested. Brilliant achievement at Leicester to keep them up.
Jimmy Glass helped him at Carlisle - saw every second of that movement up the field and scoring form the corner with seconds of the season to spare.
Nigel is a survivor but the way his team played at the end of last season - what are Leicester doing? Back down again probably.

You are an ostrich Pearson

Completed a miracle keeping them up and hardly the reward you would expect. I guess the air was blue when he was told. He has previous and is a bit of a wild cannon. Seems it runs in the family. Still some club will tolerate him.

He'll be at Newcastle in March when they're struggling to stay up again...
