I know it's early but I remember somebody sharing how we could set up the fixture calender on our mobiles using Chrome or something. If or when that becomes available can somebody do the same again as I found it to be very useful!

Looks like I'll have to by a season ticket now just for a chance of Guiseley away !
tranmere away last game of the season and finally Lincoln and Halifax away on Saturdays these look like fantastic away games for us and I can see us taking 1000s to all of them.

Great first game to have, think we can get that rocking!

Hopefully perfect last away game and we can sing the: "you laughed at us when we went down, who the fudge is laughing now!" Or some variation of that!

Concerned with Gateshead away being in January, that means it will probablly be played in April.  And is it looking likely or possible that first designated Harry game will be at home to Forest Green? Forgot the exact date but would be around that time wouldn't it?

Barrow away on a bloody Tuesday evening too.

Not long for Andy Cook to wait for his BP return though.

Disappointed with those. The London games I tend to go to are mostly when I am away. Looks like Borehamwood will be my first game once I have located it in Google Maps.

Head to Barnet, then you're only a few miles away.  ;)

As a fellow resident of West Yorkshire I am delighted with Halifax on a Saturday but expect to be back in GY over Christmas so that is the worst possible date for Guiseley away (about 10 mins from my house ffs)!

I would have liked Halifax away to be a Tuesday night as it is fairly close and Barrow on a Saturday, but you can't have it all I suppose.

Well, there is no 'away' end. Two seated stands down one side, two covered terraces down the other and two uncovered, flat ends. Capacity of 3,000 so the club would probably be given 1,000 to 1,500

I get back from Honeymoon day before Chester away then Southport and Wrexham also in September, I will already be choosing town over the wife .... Start as I mean to go on!

Shame we couldn't go back to Lincoln on Boxing Day/2 January whilst Halifax play Guiseley. Bet Gateshead are happy their festive 'derby' is against Barrow!?!

Tranmere away final game of the season, hopefully will be happier occasion than our last visit there on the final game of the season!

It looks like they have had the good sense to play most of the midweek games before Christmas too

Halifax away is a Saturday in February so I doubt it'll be played on a Saturday due to their pitch.
Posted by: Mrs Doyle, July 3, 2015, 1:59pm; Reply: 21
Ironic that Chester and Tranmere are drawn away and home on alternate weeks in September and the two final Saturdays together home and away be interesting.

A long wait for Harry to invade FGR.

I hope Chester get organised fill ALL SEATS BEHIND THE GOAL and get some more fecking turnstiles in operation for that side stand this time

Don't worry there will be plenty of mid-week games after Xmas once we get a little rain and the FA Trophy gets underway.

The FGR away will be moved to a Tuesday night conspiracy theory was as accurate as most!

Good set of fixtures (looks like we play everyone twice), couldn't really care less what order they're in - win 30 of them and we go up. Simple ;)

Guessing that Lincoln requested again they didn't play us on Boxing Day/New Year.

If so it's absolutely ridiculous.  Us/Lincoln and Halifax/Guiseley are perfectly located for quick and easy travel to suit fans.

Looks a tough start for Tranmere with Woking (h), Gateshead (a) and Braintree (a) to start. Should be fully integrated into life in non-league by the end of those three!

Tranmere away last game of the season, Christ I hope that's a dead rubber. I don't think I'd cope with that again.

End of the season looks like the toughest run of games we have. Just need to make sure we're 20 points clear by Christmas......

Guiseley's ground is less than 5 miles from my front door so works perfectly for me! At the in-laws on Christmas Day then away home early Boxing Day and out for a few pints before the match. Lovely stuff.

Gutted about Guiseley - 5 mins from my house and I can't go - it's also a bad idea as Guiseley's ground won't be able to contain the Town fans it really is tiny.

Anyhow good start to the season no tricky fixtures bar Lincoln until we get to the inevitable TV  match against Lincoln. Hopefully we'll be top and flying by then.

I will help you flood the pitch the day before if you like.

edit - just realised that would be Christmas Day! Perhaps a few days before...

I wonder how many tickets we'll get for Guiseley. The ground only holds 3000 in total!
Posted by: RichMariner, July 3, 2015, 4:56pm; Reply: 38
I'm gutted about the Guiseley fixture too. Living in Leeds it's my closest away game and I'll be back in Grimsby with the family then!

Also share concerns about Town fans getting tickets. I've been to their ground plenty of times and I'm surprised it can hold as many as 3,000.

It's a nice, family run club, but the areas behind the goals are completely flat (and tiny)! And the two 'sheds' down one side are proper old school

I don't know what the ground requirements are to be in the Conference these days but Guiseley must be scraping it!

Have you moved house in the last couple of hours, you was only 2 mins from Guiseleys ground on another thread earlier, or is this 5 mins the long way round via the pub ?  ;)

Guiseley averaged 564 last season with 964 as their highest.

According to this article in Oct 2014, they are looking to increase capacity from 3004 to 4,000 - Click >> Guiseley FC proposals for stadium improvements

Quoted from Yorkshire Post | Posted 12th May 2015
“It is not just the community building plans; we need to get the ground improvements right.

The portakabins are leaking badly (unsure) and we need to replace them and need to be seen as the semi-professional club we are.

“We have a few portakabins and share a cricket club. The concept of having Grimsby Town or Bristol Rovers and Tranmere here is quite embarrassing.

“We would have to get an A-grade by March 31. That is less than a year away and we haven’t got planning permission yet.

;) Yeah depends how drunk I am.

On a serious note this is a seriously rubbish decision by the league - Guiseley will probably have roughly 1000 fans for boxing day (they may well have a few more if Leeds and Bradford are away). It leaves 2k for us which I suspect we could be taking a fair few more if we are top.

On a slightly different note there seems to be a fair number of Leeds based mariners on this thread. For the BT sports game is it worth all trying to meet in a pub and arranging with a landlord for them to show the game?

Generally disappointed. Away first game as always it seems. Away final game (and a tough one in a horrible place on the opposite coast), away in a tiny ground on Boxing Day and a hard looking run in! Could have been much kinder.
Anyway, I'm sure well sweep all and sundry aside effortlessly!

Since we've been at this level our first games have been, away, home, away, home, away. This is the first time we've been away for the first game 2 seasons on the trot.

I doubt the fixture list will resemble anything like it does at the moment after BT have decided their televised games. Also matches being rearranged due to Trophy and F.A Cup commitments.

I did say 'it seems'.
Away 4 times out of 6 on opening day. Seems a bit unfair that we should be away first game, away last game and away Boxing Day.

borehamwood is a excrement hole and full of bell ends. the ground is ok though, seen a lot worse in the conference.
