saying 3.25 hours on google, but seems a bit excessive; hour or so to nottingham, another hour to brum and then 45 mins to kiddy?

Will be in Mallorca!!

Didn't think for a minute that the season would kick off early in August FFS!

Miss first home game as well, bloody conference league.

Always kicks off in early August. My birthday is the 11th Aug and the first game is always around that time; some years on my birthday.

Unless your comment is tongue in cheek of course.

I hope other London-based fans will take advantage of the advance fares and come along; in price terms, this is more like Aldershot or Woking and will be a great Opening Day atmosphere.  I'm also looking forward to trying one of the famous Aggborough pies.

There's no reason why they shouldn't already have sorted this.  We get so little money for being on TV I can't see any benefit to us being chosen to be honest.  I'd love to hear the board, or at least the Mariners Trust, declare that BT Sport are of no net benefit to the club and that as a fan-led club football should be at 3pm on a Saturday.

I had a shark too at Barnet but chucked it away at the end of the game as it wouldn't deflate. I've just bought another one off Ebay now though for £1.89 with free P&P!!

It's states that 165 have been sold and only 1 left now! I wonder how many of those 165 were bought by Town fans.

There's a decent real ale pub at Kiddy train station Chris, The King and Castle and each time I've been before there's been a small market on the platform selling all sorts of old railway memorabilia if Harry is interested in that. There is sometime even a steam train in the station.

There is also a decent chippy opposite and a couple of other pubs too and a number of shops. All this is within a ten minute walk of the ground.

I would however advise not to have anything to eat pre-match and instead sample the legendary Kiddy catering in the ground.

You mean you need a babysitter?   ;)

My rotation to be working that Saturday but I'm gonna go have a chat with management to try and wangle it as Kiddy away is up there with the best atmospheres I've ever sampled, is always rocking (Town end) due to echoing roof and this time round can see it being even more so.

We won't be held down, the party continues where it left off!

I doubt that we'll shift 2100 tickets, even with all the positivity about the club at the minute so I'm fairly sure everyone who want to go will get a ticket. Maybe 1500 but I don't think there will be any more than that, however, our fans never cease to amaze me.

Not as bad for me hoping a season ticket holder I know can pick me up some tickets and get them here on time. Typically I had decided to go by and buy train tickets in advance for the first time ever for an away game, (having waited till we knew if it had been moved for tv) and now slight risk I wont get match tickets :-/

Four of us going with Shark hats - new ground for me too.  Hope to make more than the 12 away games I managed last season but can't see me going to Dover again as its a long way..... but never say never.

Me and the missus plus 2 more, and a shark, staying over in Kiddy to celebrate the first three points in style.
Last season we paid a quid to go into their bar before and after the match and watched the results on sky telly, hoping to do the same again. The cottage pie is excellent so save 4 four for us. Only 6 sleeps and .......
..............we go again !!!

Has anyone warned the Kidderminster  stewards?  There not going to do a FGR or Barnet on us are they?

If there is a charity bucket outside the ground each shark should donate.

One of the agendas at Conference Club meeting was flares. So, if anyone is thinking of taking one, please dont. Also, if anyone see someone with one or knows of any intention to take one - kindly dispose before getting anywhere near the ground.

Pretty apparent we will be being looked at, dont give any powers that be an opportunity to take away points/ play behind closed doors scenarios.

And re inflateables.. dont be daft with them either.

2 standing tickets bought; cannot wait.

£14 cheap, £7.57 in extras because Kiddy don't offer collection...not so cheap.

3 points, four goals for Amond & no shark arrests; starting us on way to the title and all our champions/promotion/topscorer bets rolling in...cheap again.

1450 sold according to this OS. I doubt it will sell out now. 600 tickets is a lot to shift.

It is all ticket because Kiddy made it so. No tickets can be bought on the gate.

Mind you, isn't that what teams normally say and then the day before they welcome selling tickets on the gate to earn afew more quid

I wouldn't risk it with there being so many going and the authorities being, well, the authorities.
