I thought that Gibraltar had been accepted by UEFA now but they don't appear in the draw?

They're a UEFA member but not a FIFA member so therefore not in the draw.

I thought that's what it would be, but you would have thought if UEFA had accepted them then FIFA would do too.

I reckon UEFA should revamp the European qualification for tournaments.

There are so many groups that only a couple of groups end up with 2 strong nations in them. So they end up being a walkover for most strong teams. Even we are waltzing through this easy group to qualify for the euros without breaking sweat. The problem is we breeze through qualifying and expectations are raised for the tournament itself because we haven't been challenged in qualifying.

My idea would be:

Make the teams like Andorra, Lichenstein (sp), San Marino and some of the lower ranked teams play a 2-legged preliminary round of qualifying to eliminate the whipping boys.

Then have less groups, even if that means slightly more teams in them, and have 2 or 3 strong sides in each group with 2 or 3 qualifying. Then we would get competitive match practice against the kind of teams we normally fail against at the main event.
