Only 4 subs? If Bogle was warming up might he have been a sub but he didn't feel right? Fingers crossed he gets up to speed soon.

Not sure how or why it would happen, but if bogle was accidently left off the teamsheet, could he still play? seeing as its a friendly?

Town break and Marshall is found in the box in space. He unleashes a decent effort across the keeper that is parried away. Monkhouse arrived to drive it back towards goal and Amond meets it to divert it past the keeper.

Southwell & Garner (think it's Scott? I'm going by Twitter) playing. No mention of Thanoj.

Marshall took a knock to the knee in the build up to Town's goal and seemed to have run it off but it looks as if he has been withdrawn as a precaution.

not as bad as it seems? hope its just us not taking any risks at all

1-1
A long ball dropped over the head of Danny East who sliced a high backpass back to McKeown. McKeown was put under pressure and sliced his clearance straight to the feet of Felix who rolled the ball into the empty net.

FT Boston 1-3 Town. Winning every pre-season game ain't a bad way to prepare for the season!! (Not counting youth team result  ;))

Clutching at straws i know, but having seen Town so solid at the back against higher league opposition, just in result of joint favourites with Town,

Tranmere 1-4 Shrewsbury.

Now the real stuff begins, this is our time........ ;)

Get the impression with Amond he has a good work ethic and good mentality.Combined with some ability which he seems to have can see him doing well this season bar injurys

So... having only really followed town for the last 5-6 years... when was the last time we so comprehensively bossed every pre-season friendly? I know they're not supposed to count, etc etc but... it has to count for something?!

Harsh as it seems manager probably didnt see him as good enough and felt other options were better .Having said that he is still young and can learn and grow.Hopefully he can thrive of the passion from the fans here and do well this season.Money talks at the end of the day and players be it at whatever level of their careers(bar the youngsters) are at this level for a reason

Those 9 goals came in only 7 games too.

He's still available at 25/1 to be top goalscorer.

Wasn't keen on when he said about trying to coach Amond to make him differenr/better. Is this why the strikers we have previously signed with good goal scoring records stop scoring by Christmas  ??)

Bit difficult to calculate home/away fans as there were quite a lot of Town fans sat amongst the home supporters in the Main Stand.

Hurst always sounds calm and collected unlike me lol. I Hope these niggling injuries sort themselves out obviously Josh is a serious one and Robertson and Scotty Brown seems to be a doubt for the opening few games but the others look like knoks so should be ready. pre season we have coped well so lets do this shitt right from the off lets hit the ground running. Bet those lads can't wait to get started they must be full of confidence.
