i know a few on here like a little game as such, so how about this ?
Les is good at organising these kind of things
get 24 people to put in say £5 ?
once all 24 places taken, draw numbers at random.
What ever number you are, is your place in the table for where Grimsby will finish.
so if you get 5, you need to hope Grimsby finish 5th.
if you get 20, then sorry...
£5 x 24 = £120
Winner takes £70, and £50 into the trust or something ?
this could fail miserably...

If the draw is random then you aren't really predicting our finishing position are you?

This is what the Eastleigh fans are doing
Top Six Prediction Challenge (most of them predicting us to come top).
Entry fee is £5 and all you need to do is predict your top six teams in what you think will be their finishing positions. For each team you get correct in the top six, you are awarded 3 points per team, and bonus points are available if you get the team in the correct position when the final table is published. If you correctly name the champions you will be awarded 9 bonus points, for selecting the runners up 7 bonus points, then 5 points for 3rd place, 3 points for 4th, 2 points for 5th, and lastly 1 bonus point for 6th. Therefore naming the champions correctly is worth 12 points in total, get the team correctly at 3rd wins you 8 points and so on and so on. Winner takes all, or joint winners share the cash.

yeah, i realised that...
it would work better with a mid-table team (Like Lincoln) as a lot of places you could finish

Be a bit of a fornicator if you drew 24!

I just don't understand the appeal or the logic. Why not just bet your £5 with a bookie based on what you actually think?
