Do what I do Pete and laugh at most of the posts. There are a select few posters on this board who's opinions I really respect.

I don't get to many games due to finances but over the years I have gone by what certain posters say. You're a good contributor to this site Pete, please stay and join me in laughing at the Hurst Out Brigade when he is a Football League manager sooner rather than later.

to be honest I go hot and cold, when I see a lot of 'crap' or negative posts after a  draw or defeat I tend to stay away from the fishy, recently ive been on a lot because Im enjoying reading all the threads and comments. I may not agree with all the comments but that's what forums are for.. stick around mate and just hide in the shadows until it's safe to come out ;)

Same for me , I'm an old un like you Pete , seen it from the early 60's,  these young ones haven't got the memories or knowledge we have . We give honest opinions on what we have seen.  I respect you views as much as do of Alan Buckley . My son has stopped posting because of the abuse he got from one comment . You are better than that .

Pete highlights the pettiness and backbiting as a reason he no longer wants to contribute and before the first page is over, people are slinging insults and totally off topic.

I think you're ace Pete and may well be the longest serving Town fan on this site. Your opinion is as valid as the next mans, so stick around mate.

Pete your posts are well thought through you never throw abuse at people and that is the mark of good debating. I tend to just read the comments when silly posts pop up. It was great when things were going brilliantly pre season on and even better off the field. Trouble is the expectations were miles to high but we are starting to show our quality and making good progress. Hurst does things his way just as Buckley did and he never really had a fantastic rapore with all the fans and media did he. Hurst seems like marmite you either love him or loath him but i think he deserves a fair crack at getting us up this season and a bit of support even if you don't agree with all his choices the players look settled and willing to play for him that means a lot.  

You can't sodomist off now Pete, when you're poised to qualify for the knockout stages of The Prediction League.  :)

Pete good to see you wont leave this site.Place is better with you with it.Dont worry about other peoples opinion or some people getting to you.Everyone has a opinion some better than others.At the heart of it I havent met you in person but you seem a nice person and that ultimately what life should be about.
