I don't know if this has been done before so apologies if so.
Looking at the threads there are some weird and wacky usernames and there must be a story behind them.
Mine is simple enough, I support Town and live in Scunthorpe.

Worked with Les Brechin at David Burys their was a odd job man who we called the 'udder man' saw what I eat at dinner and said just like a yard dog.

Had I been called Dee, I would have given a FOB story (Les knows what I mean).

Those were the days Les, putting up the plastic at the widows in winter, waiting for Burys to go on holiday, getting kicked out of the office every morning when Fred came in with the flask for him and David, making sure we had a drink on Christmas Eve in the Clee Park, so that we did not have go and delivery the Christmas boxes (sack of spuds from his sisters farm) to the solicitors Burys dealt with and of course the 101 FOB stoires by Dee.

An old mate of mine, who certainly was a stranger to the (Blundell ) park, turned up for a match and upon seeing me called out "now then stranger"- obviously trying to throw off his own glory supporter tag.

Simple enough.
Names Andy, support Darlo - Split my time in Darlington & Grimsby.

Kept a soft spot for the Mariners since moving down there 13 years ago.

I am old enough to have seen the great man play regularly and I loved him as a player. But the tackle piece is an hilarious double entendre that juxtaposes one of his great assets as a player with his willy.

Absolutely hilarious.

I know it's not.

PS the errant S is deliberate and is a nod to the habit of some Grimsby people adding a random S to things.

I used the name on many sites because of my interest in the Mexican Mayans.

I have used on dating sites and got a lot of interest from Filipinas.   I found out that it means 'rich' in tagalog.

In Sanskrit, it means illusion, which is what I still think I experienced in the play-offs.

Previously,  I was keefybeefy.

Worked as a fish lumper on Grimsby docks for a few years (plaice)

Changed from relegation plaice to promotion plaice the first time we were promoted out of the National League.

When was it?  My old man was doing it for years. Sadly no longer with us.

Born within the roar of ‘MARINERS’ from the Pontoon stand, then went travelling far.

Hence the name!

I’m named after the greatest left midfielder/winger to ever play for town, a man that was so good he would beat the man once and then frustratingly turn round and beat him again, he also had a great free kick, cross and penalty. A great player from the Buckley days.
