My God we are excrement! Some half decent approach play but the final ball has been woeful. Fragile at the back, any good team would have had at least a couple of goals.

Just looking at the real-time league table, changing every few minutes.

I noticed that in 45 games, Gillingham have only scored 44 goals, shipping 53, but amazingly they are still up in 9th position. Seems like they have the ability to defend a one-nil lead pretty well considering they have won 1 - 0 eleven times this season, including the first 4 games of the season.

Poor stuff but two good finishes and tbf we did improve once the nerves had gone. So, welll done lads for getting the result we needed but won't be sad to see many/most of you not in a Town shirt next year.

A positive, we looked so much better when the subs cam on. So we keep some, get some better replacements. Obvious I know, but I was impressed with Ainley, Andrews, Kouri and of course Thompson. Terrible season, but it’s always difficult when you’re struggling.
Gone home a lot happier and optimistic tonight.
