Just In: FT: Colchester 3 Grimsby 2

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 16/08/2016 23:49

Town recovered from a 3-0 half time deficit but ended up losing 3-2 at Colchester.

A very poor defensive display in the first half saw the Mariners struggle to contain the home side, who raced into a 3-0 lead.

Captain Craig Disley was introduced at half time and immediately rose to head Town back in the game.

A late consolation in injury time reduced the arrears further but the damage was done, although Town will be able to point to the improved second half showing as something to take into the next game.  Match Thread
