GRIMSBY head to Hampshire looking for fight back after the disappointment of two consecutive defeats which have scupper ed their chances of automatic promotion.

The heavy fixture list has taken its toll in the treatment room however. Marcus Marshall (knee), Ryan Jennings (toe) are definitely out and Evan Horwood and Pat Hoban are both doubtful.

Alder shot are without long term injuries Damien Lathrope and Joe Oastler, but welcome back Nathan Ralph and Dan Walker from illness, and winger Rhys Browne returns from international duty.

Matches between Grimsby and the Shots have a history of being high scoring. The last two games Town have won 4-1 and 3-1. Last year Town lost 2-1 at Alder shot after John-Lewis was sent off and the year before the Mariners thumped the home side 3-0.
