29-year-old Norwegian, Knut Anders Fostervold, is keen to move from FC Molde to Town but the club are having difficulty in meeting the £325,000 transfer fee. Grimsby manager, Lennie Lawrence, is now waiting to see if FC Molde will allow Fostervold to come on a 3-month loan.

Daryl Clare

Lawrence is also looking for a second division club to take Clare on a loan period until Christmas to enable him to maintain his match fitness in case he is needed in the December/ January fixtures. He also reaffirmed that the loan was not a prelude to a transfer as he will be needed back at Grimsby.
