Gareth Grant Targeted

By: Richard Hubbert
Date: 18/01/2001

It is understood that Grimsby could be interested in Bradford striker and Rotherham target Gareth Grant. 20 year old Grant (pictured), who has already had an unsuccessful loan spell at Bolton last season, is wanted by Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore in a season-long loan.

But according to unconfirmed reports, the Mariners, who are in need of a firepower through the imminent departure of David Nielsen, could be tempted to make an offer for the Leeds-born forward. It is not yet understood whether the pacey Grant is available, but at this stage the story is yet to be confirmed.
