Question of the Week
How long before new manager arrives?
Burnett Injury Blow
By: Bill Osborne
Wayne Burnett suffered another setback in training yesterday after getting a kick on the knee which was badly bruised in the home draw with Birmingham City almost a month ago. This injury could mean him not playing again this season.
With his past injury record, that may be the best solution with Town having plenty of midfield cover without having to take a chance with one of the best players in the squad who will be expected to play a major part next season.
Wayne told Mariners Net today: "Obviously It's very disappointing for me, I have spent the past few weeks in the physio's room recovering from the kick I took against Birmingham which was a long slow process, now it's back to square one but, fingers crossed, hopefully I will be back in training next week but that's up to the physio."
